End of Summer last year, B and I went for a road trip to visit one national park, one national monument and family in Montana. During that one week road trip, we hit six states. It was probably one of the longest road trip we’ve ever done so far. There were long hours of driving but we enjoyed it a lot. The view were unbelievably stunning and it was nice to finally meet family in Montana; especially my nephew, Lee. 🙂
We were mostly on the road on our first day, Idaho Falls was our first stop. Had some late dinner and a night’s rest. On our second and third day we were touring around Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. We saw a lot of breathtaking view – wild animals, rivers, trees, lakes, mountains. It was an amazing experience, the world is indeed full of wonderful things.
Our next 2 days were with family in Montana. Meet my cute little nephew, Lee. He’s adorable! We went to Red Lodge and Beartooth Highway.
Our last destination before we headed back home was Mt. Rushmore in South Dakota. We were only there for about a few hours.
After Mt. Rushmore, our journey back home started. Since we want to see different sights, we headed north of Montana/Idaho and passed through a snowstorm. Oh! How I love the snow.
The last rest stop was in Spokane, Washington. We ate some dinner at a Thai place and called it a night. Our final day was plainly traveling back home in Portland. 🙂
